White acrylic paint on cotton canvas woven in alternating white and red vertical stripes, each 8.7 cm (± 0.3 cm) wide.
183 x 142 cm (before being cut up).

Description
The two white stripes at each end are painted over with white paint on the front side.
In January 1976, this painting will be cut into two parts, by Daniel Buren, creating a new work to be installed according to a precise way. (cf. catalogue volume VI 1976-1978, not yet edited)
