Alternating white and rose vertical striped paper, each stripe 8.7 cm wide, paste.

Variable dimensions. Each sheet of paper: 52 x 78.3 cm.

Description

Exhibition - without invitation or authorization, without a gallery or museum and with the complicity of Herman Daled - on the limits of the artist vis-a-vis society.
Around 100 publicity placards in the city are covered over with white and rose striped paper, during the night preceding the opening of the exhibition. These random unauthorized ostings led the police to arrest Daniel Buren and to put him in prison for 24 hours. All the paper used in the work were shredded.
