White acrylic paint on cotton canvas woven in alternating white and brown vertical stripes, each 8.7 cm. (± 0.3) wide.

Description
The two white stripes at each end are covered over with white paint on the front side.
The work is one part of a group 18 paintings, painted from July 1966 to December 1981, titled “Fragmente einer Rede über die Kunst”, assembled beginning in 1979 by the gallery Konrad Fischer of Dusseldorf, completed by this gallery in 1981 and acquired in 1982 by the Van Abbemuseum, Eindhoven.
