Description

In front of a fixed camera, progressive covering up –by Daniel Buren – of a low wall along a wharf of the grand canal, with sheets of white and red striped paper. After the affixing of each sheet of paper, one next to the other from left to right, the work was video taped for 10 seconds. This continued until the wall was entirely covered.

Video- documentary filmed by Gerry Schum in Venice in June 1972 and produced in June 1973, by Videogalerie, Dusseldorf, (after the death ofGerry Schum in March 1973).
