Description
The two white stripes at each end are painted over with white acrylic paint on the front side.
Painting is part of a group of 20 works dating from 1966 to 1977, having belonged to the collector Marc Martin-Malburet, conceived, in December 1995, as a new collective inseparable work, installed on two facing walls on the occasion of the exhibition "Passions privees", at the Musée d'art moderne de la Ville de Paris.
Since the reopening of the museum after remodeling, in 2006, the 20 works are presented on one single wall opposite 'La Danse", 1931-1933, by Matisse.
